"Water makes the West as we know it. When you touch water, you touch everything, from ski resorts to agriculture to towns and cities."
-Former U.S. Senator Mark Udall

Join us on Wednesday, March 8th, 9:30am-8:00pm, in the UCCS Berger Hall for an exciting day to learn, connect and act on the topic of water, our most precious natural resource. We will have experts from across the state to address topics such as climate change and Colorado water, recreation, hydraulic fracturing and drinking water, tribal water law and Standing Rock, Colorado water plan, the energy/water nexus, water contamination and Venetucci Farm, and water conservation practices.

Lunch will be provided to registered participants by UCCS Food Next Door. There will be a Sustainabrew Hoppy Hour and local whiskey tasting and expo from 5:00pm-7:00pm. We will finish the day with a presentation from professional snowboarder Jake Black from the Protect Our Winters Riders Alliance.

Open to all UCCS students, faculty, staff as well as community members. We look forward to spending the day with you!
