UCCS Sustainability Committee
The UCCS Sustainability Committee is a collaborative group dedicated to advancing sustainability initiatives across campus. Comprising students, faculty, and staff, the committee works to integrate environmental, social, and economic sustainability into university operations, academics, and campus life.
The committee serves as a platform for idea-sharing, project development, and policy recommendations that support UCCS’s sustainability goals. By fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagement, the committee helps drive impactful programs, including waste reduction, energy conservation, sustainable transportation, and campus-wide awareness campaigns.
Our mission is to support a culture of sustainability at UCCS by advocating for initiatives that reduce our ecological footprint, enhance student learning, and create a more resilient and equitable campus.
Get Involved!
The committee welcomes input from the campus community and encourages participation from those passionate about making a difference. Whether you’re interested in joining the committee, proposing a sustainability project, or learning more about our efforts, we’d love to hear from you!
