Volunteer to Plant a Tree!
Join us in our efforts to plant 150 trees to celebrate the City's Sesquicentennial celebrations!
We hope to plant ~20 trees at each of the three volunteer opportunities listed below. Thank you for helping us increase our campus tree canopy and leaving a lasting legacy at UCCS!
This year, due to COVID-19 impacts, we are only allowing 25 UCCS volunteers total for each of the volunteer opportunities. Please review and complete the steps below to reserve your spot to volunteer with us.
Your Volunteer Check List | Day of Tree Planting
- Take the UCCS 'Return to Campus' Wellness Check
- Bring a mask or face-covering to wear during the tree planting
- Wear closed-toe shoes (and long pants are encouraged)
- Bring a water bottle
- Apply sunscreen

Where to meet: Lot 540 - Planting will occur along Clyde's Way
Who: All UCCS Students, Faculty & Staff
Your Volunteer Check List | Before you Volunteer:
- RSVP by completing the tasks below.
- Read the UCCS Waiver.
- Send an email to st-sus14@uccs.edu with your emergency contact information. This email serves as your electronic signature to the waiver. All three steps must be completed before Monday, April 12th at 5pm. No walk-up volunteers may participate due to COVID-19 guidelines.

Who: UCCS Alumni
Your Volunteer Check List | Before you Volunteer:
- Alumni must create a volunteer profile using the new UCCS Alumni Volunteer portal. It takes ~5 min; here's a quick video to show you the steps.
- Once you've created a profile, click here to RSVP
- While in the Volunteer portal, you will need to sign a waiver. Please follow the steps listed below in "Clyde's Reminder" to ensure you have signed the waiver and RSVP'd for this volunteer opportunity!
