Sustainnovation: Climate Change Symposium

Join us for the third annual Sustainnovation: Climate Change Symposium, April 9th and 10th.  The event includes speakers, student and faculty panels, representatives from local organizations, and a research poster contest.  

On April 9th, 5:30 - 7:00 pm, we will launch the event with the student summit, in the University Center, room 302, followed by a presentation from Winona LaDuke, internationally acclaimed author, orator and activist, who will discuss indigenous thinking in time a of climate change, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Berger Hall.

On April 10th, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, in Berger Hall, Sustainnovation will feature Dr. James White, Professor of Geological Sciences, Univeristy of Colorado Boulder and Dr. Jennifer Cross, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, Colorado State University, who will discuss the science behind climate change and what we can do about it.  

Lunch is full and reservations are no longer being accepted.
