Help us clean up our adopted waterway!

 Sit on your butt and do something! Join us for a bike ride along the greenway trail. We'll stop every so often to help clean up the trails that we love so much. Arrive at the S.O.L.E. Center at 2:00pm. We'll load up our gear and head out. Expect to be back at campus by 6:00pm. 

Bike Jam is an annual UCCS event that encourages alternate methods of transportation, specifically bicycles, for the purpose of living more healthy and sustainable lives!

This year, Bike Jam will kick-off our UCCS Bike Month Challenge, in which faculty, staff, and students can participate to win great prizes by riding for recreation or by commuting to and from UCCS

Plan to DITCH THE DUMPSTER during move out!

The Office of Sustainability and Residence Life & Housing are providing an alternative to throwing away items from your dorm move out. Goodwill trucks will be located behind Monarch and Alpine from Monday, May 11 - Saturday, May 16.

What To Bring:

The 3^rd Annual SUSTAINNOVATION event was a way to connect with on- and off-campus research, organizations, and initiatives that further sustainability in Colorado Springs. The focus this year was climate change. The all-day event on Friday, April 10^th included speakers: James White, Ph.D. of CU Boulder and Jennifer Cross, Ph.D. of Colorado State University along with faculty, staff, and student panels who spoke on their work to reduce UCCS' carbon footprint.
